How do I apply for my Live account?

The application takes a few minutes on the Live Desk. Your identity is never typed again: your name and date of birth come from your approved Phoenix Identity check, and the form only asks for what is missing.

   Identity. Already verified with Phoenix Identity? It shows as verified. If not, verify first: the application cannot be sent without it.

   Phone number, with its country code. We call before any change to your account.

   Country of residence and address. They must match your proof of address.

   Social Security number, for US residents only.

   Proof of address: a bill, bank statement or tax letter under 90 days old, in your name, as a PDF, JPG or PNG of up to 10 MB.

   Your exchanges: at least one of CME, CBOT, NYMEX or COMEX. Each one carries a monthly market data fee, see What does market data cost on Live?

   Sign your terms. Read them, tick to accept, and type your full legal name exactly as it appears on your terms.
