A reset retires the failed account and creates a fresh one under exactly the same rules, on the same day. Your failed account is closed; the new one starts at the starting balance with a fresh drawdown.
Resets never count against the number of accounts you may hold, so a reset is always available to you where the experiment allows it, even when you are at your account limit.
