What is Phoenix Labs?

Phoenix Labs is the experiment division of Phoenix Trader Funding . New funded-account concepts are launched here as real, tradable accounts, with real rules, real platforms and real payouts, instead of as surveys or mock-ups. The market decides which ideas deserve to exist. The lab holds 4 slots at any time, so there are never more than 4 concepts on sale at once. A concept that keeps selling and keeps its economics healthy may graduate into the permanent Phoenix Trader Funding offer. One that does not is retired and its slot goes to the next idea. Right now the lab is running Instant 10K, Blueprint 25K, Incentive $10K Pay-on-Pass, Bedrock $25K Static Drawdown. The only experimental thing about a Labs account is its economics: the price, the profit goal and the drawdown of a concept have not yet proven themselves across a full population of traders. Your execution, your platforms and your payouts are the standard Phoenix ones.

Are Labs accounts real accounts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A Labs account runs on exactly the same infrastructure as every Phoenix TFeed account and you trade it on the same platforms: Odin, Quantower, or your own platform through the Thor copier. Payouts are real money, cleared by Phoenix's anti-cheat review and paid by PayPal, Payoneer, Wise, Rise. What is experimental is the concept, never the account. That distinction is written into the terms every Labs account is sold under.

How does an experiment work, from drop to payout?

1 Designed from data. Every concept starts in the numbers: what traders keep asking for, what no firm offers, and what results across thousands of real accounts say could work. Nothing goes live on a hunch. 2 Drops into a slot. The lab holds 4 slots. When one is free, a new experiment drops as a full account concept, priced and live from the first minute. 3 Traded for real. You buy it, trade it like any Phoenix account, and pass it under its published rules. 4 Funded and paid. A pass is reviewed, you sign the funded agreement, verify your identity once, and receive a funded account that pays out under the terms you bought. 5 The best graduate. Concepts traders embrace, and whose maths hold, may join the permanent Phoenix offer. Whatever happens to the concept, every account already started plays out in full under the rules it was bought at. Instant 10K skips the evaluation: you buy the funded account itself and trade it from your first trade. Payouts open once you have signed its funded agreement and verified your identity, both right after purchase.

Question 4

What happens to my account if the experiment is retired?

Nothing changes for you. The rules you buy are the rules you keep for the whole life of your account, evaluation to funded to paid. An experiment closing to new traders, graduating, or leaving the lab cannot reach into a running account. In the rare case a concept is ever discontinued outright, every active account is refunded in full automatically and every payout already earned is honoured. There is nothing for you to watch or manage. This is the Labs charter, and it is part of the terms of sale, not a marketing line.

How do I buy a Labs account?

1 Pick an experiment on the storefront. Each card states its full evaluation rules and its funded terms before you pay. 2 Sign in with your Phoenix Trader Funding login. A Labs trader is a Phoenix user: same account, same identity check, same payouts. 3 Pay by card. The checkout shows the exact rules of the account you are buying before you pay. 4 Your trading account is created automatically, usually within a minute. If Labs creates your trading login for you, it is emailed to you and shown in your dashboard; if you already had a Phoenix trading login, the account appears under it. Blueprint 25K is different: you build the account yourself first, then the price is computed for that exact build. See the Blueprint topic for how that works.

Question 6

Do the rules change after I buy?

Accepted Answer

No. The evaluation rules and the funded terms are fixed at the moment you pay, and your account carries them for its whole life. If the lab later changes a product, that change applies to accounts sold from then on, never to yours. Your account page and your funded agreement both quote the rules of the account you bought, not the rules on sale today. The one exception is the list of prohibited trading strategies under Risk management. As the funded agreement states, strategies are governed by the rules published in this Help Center, so that list applies to all trading on every account, whatever the purchase date. Your price, goal, drawdown and payout terms never change.
